Low Bono Family Law mediation program 2023
Port Angeles Pro Bono is offering low bono family law mediation services in conjunction with Angeles Mediation in 2024. Work with a lawyer-mediator to solve your case and keep costs down and get the outcome you want rather than what a judge thinks you should have.
Mediation involves working with a lawyer who tries to help both people but who does not represent either party as their attorney. The lawyer-mediator stays neutral and fair to both sides. The lawyer-mediator helps structure a discussion about how to solve your case, and can help you get papers written up.
To do mediation instead of going to court, it requires both of you to want to participate. If the other person does not want to be involved in mediation, there is no point in contacting Angeles Mediation.
For more information
You should browse the Angeles Mediation website, then talk with the other person to see if they want to try mediation. If they do, fill out the contact form at the Angeles Mediation Low Bono project page, and make sure to tell them you want to do the low bono program.
At least one person needs to qualify for Low Bono (reduced fee) services. Click this link for information about what low bono is.
The low bono mediation program replaces the Port Angeles Pro Bono 2020/2021/2022 Free Friday Family Law program. If you are looking for free help from a lawyer for your case in court, contact the Clallam-Jefferson Pro Bono Lawyers program.
