The service to celebrate the life of Marie Angier will be held this coming Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. The address for the church is 139 W. 8th St., Port Angeles. I’m sure Tom would appreciate seeing his colleagues there to support him.
Additionally, some of the employees of the AG’s office are trying to put together some funds to erect a memorial bench for Marie in Sequim. The cost for this is $1,000.00. This plan is in the early stages but if you are interested in contributing to this project you should contact Cathy Carlin at the Attorney General’s Office - 457-2711.

This summer marks an historic election for Clallam County’s newly created position for a third Superior Court Judge (position #3). This position was authorized by an act of the state legislature last year. The first ballot will be in the primary election (August 21, 2007 this year) Unless one candidate obtains 51% or more of the vote, the top two candidates will run off in the November election.
