ABOUT THE TRAINERS:
Rhonda McKillip, MEd, LMHC, MAC, CCDC III, CDP is a psychotherapist in private practice in Spokane, Washington,
National Presenter, Consultant, and the author of The Basics Second Edition: A Curriculum for Co-Occurring Psychiatric and
Substance Disorders, Foreword by Kenneth Minkoff, MD.
Ms. McKillip is a NAADAC Approved Education Provider, a Motivational Interviewing Network Trainer (MINT), an Instructor
for The Washington Institute for Mental Illness Research & Training, and an Adjunct Faculty member at Eastern Washington
University. She provides onsite consultation, training, quality service review, program development, and clinical supervision to
professionals in the areas of psychiatric disorders, substance disorders, co-occurring disorders, and motivational interviewing, as
well as direct service to consumers/clients in the agency setting.
GOALS:
* Enhance clinical capabilities of both chemical dependency and mental health counselors to provide services
to COD populations. Learn specific techniques, skills and tools to work with this population;
* Increase understanding of the particular challenges faced by this population and the activities
that promote healing and increased function and quality of life;
* Improve case management of COD clients throughout the spectrum of relevant community services.

staff, Case Managers and others interested in Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorders

Registration is $25 for Clallam County residents by September 21; $50 for Non-Clallam County residents or after September 21.
