Sincere thanks to each and everyone of you for your assistance this year in making this a great year to be CCBA president.
First my thanks to Cliff Tassie, Treasurer for Life for all he does (remember its time to pay bar dues for 2011). Thanks to Carol Mortensen, Liz Schwantor and Chris Koenig for assistance in sending out and tabulating results of our prosecutor and district court poll.

Year in Review — 15 CLE credits including Clallam Legal; Three (3) $750 Scholarships given to Westend students; $750 Youth in Government; Prosecutor and District Court Judge forum; approximately $10,000 to Pro Bono (I don’t have the specific number because I do not know what Clallam Legal brought in). Plus $3700 paid to Pro Bono through bar dues. 1st Annual Golf Tournament.

Simon Barnhart, an attorney with the Platt Irwin firm, has been elected as the Clallam County Bar Association President for 2012. Congratulations Simon!
Chris Koenig is the president for 2011.
The lawyers annual Christmas party will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Peninsula Golf Course clubhouse. Appetizers will be provided, and based on the number of RSVP’s.

Legal Assistant relocating to Washington has 17+ years of experience seeks full-time/part-time position within Clallam County. Graduated in 1992 with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and is fluent in English and Spanish. Worked in Small to Medium sized law firms and can work with minimal supervision. Currently has experience in Civil, Criminal and Family Law and some probate litigation in the past. Very detailed oriented and punctual.
